What to Expect on Your First Visit

At ChirAlign Health & Wellness, we’ve designed a comprehensive new patient experience to ensure we fully understand your health concerns and goals. Your first visit with Dr. Sarah Bland typically lasts 60-90 minutes, allowing plenty of time to discuss your health history and current concerns in detail. This thorough approach helps us develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.

During this initial appointment, you’ll complete your new patient paperwork in our office (please bring your insurance card if applicable). Dr. Bland will conduct a complete examination that evaluates not just your area of complaint, but your entire body, as problems in one area often stem from dysfunction elsewhere. Unless contraindicated (such as during pregnancy), you’ll receive digital X-rays during this first visit to provide a clear understanding of your spinal structure.

Your Second Visit: Review of Findings

Your second appointment, typically scheduled the following day if possible, lasts about 45-60 minutes. During this important visit, Dr. Bland will personally review your examination findings and X-ray results with you. She’ll explain her findings in clear, easy-to-understand language and outline her recommendations for your care plan, including treatment frequency and duration based on your specific condition and goals.

If you need financial assistance, Dr. Bland will discuss various payment options available, including Care Credit and other financing alternatives. This visit concludes with your first adjustment, beginning your path to improved health and wellness. We encourage patients to bring family members to this appointment if they’d like support in understanding their treatment plan.

This comprehensive package represents significant savings while providing all the essential elements needed to begin your personalized care plan. Payment Options and Insurance

ChirAlign Health & Wellness accepts multiple payment methods for your convenience, including credit cards, cash, HSA/FSA cards, Care Credit, and digital payment options like Venmo and Apple Pay. We strive to make the financial aspect of your care as stress-free as possible, with clear explanations of costs and payment options.

Dr. Bland is in the process of becoming a Medicare provider, and for most other insurance plans, we function as an out-of-network provider. This allows us to focus on providing the care you truly need rather than what insurance might dictate. We’re happy to verify your insurance benefits and provide documentation you can submit for potential reimbursement from your insurance carrier.
